RELEASED TO WORSHIP

Released to Worship is a liturgical dance ministry based in Birmingham, UK. It was founded by Claudeth Bennett in 2007 who is a member of the National Liturgical Dance Network UK and chairperson for the West Midlands region. The Released to Worship family is made up of five Dance Ministers who bring the Word through movement, these are Claudeth Bennett, Sadiqah Salmon Jarrett, Francesca McDowall, Janet Hanson and Savannah Hanson. The team came together by the divine leading of the Holy Spirit uniting trained and untrained dancers who share a passion to worship God. We minister through prophetic, interpretive and liturgical dance by the moving of the Holy Spirit.
Our mission is work with Pastors and the praise and worship team to take the congregation through the worship experience for God’s honour and glory. This ministry has been used as a tool for evangelism through public worship in dance, in church and community events. We minister in our own local churches, as well at gospel event, weddings, conferences and funeral. Released to Worship have ministered at the Jabula Conference - LOUD 360, Midnight Cry, Mount Zion Community Church, The Bethel Convention Centre as well as many other community events.
In August 2015, we hosted ‘The Call’ Worship in Dance Conference Retreat. We welcomed NLDN founder Rev Eyesha and the international dance ministers and facilitators from many parts of America such as New York, New Jersey, Miami and Atlanta. We also had facilitators from Holland. Released to worship will once again also host 2017 ‘Here Am I ‘Worship in Dance Conference Retreat.
